Job Summary Warehouse manager oversee the safe receipt , storage , retrieval and timely dispatch of goods. He ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock. Typical work activities The warehouse manager's job centers on keeping track of all items that come into and go out of the warehouse. This requires a very organized system of inventory tracking. Reporting damaged incoming deliveries. Ensuring spacious and efficient layout of the store room. Planning the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for certain stock , such as fragile products. Ensuring productivity targets are met and maintain computerized systems for storage and retrieval. Overseeing stock control and processing orders. Management and monitoring stock levels and replenishment. Training staff and monitoring their performance and progress. Ensuring product , process and service quality control. To maintain consistent quality control of stock and order packing to minimize transit or holding faults and limit stock returns and ensure top service at all times. Motivating , organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity target are met. Communicating with other departments , staff groups and customers ( if responsible for deliveries). Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles , machinery and equipment. Conduct physical counts of products and reconcile with data to maintain adequate inventory levels. Prepare an annual budget , plan out expenses , analyze any variances , and make necessary corrections to help company achieve financial objectives. Ensuring the health , safety . cleanliness and security of the work environment. Stay updated on state and international legislation and requirements for warehousing , shipping and material handling end ensure that the company complies Review paperwork from deliveries. Undertaking administrative tasks such as filing , invoicing , receipting , transaction processing ,postage procedures etc. These administration tasks must be carried out with accuracy and in a timely fashion .
Plan, organize and direct marketing activities for the hospital to extend and increase use of the hospital facilities. Develop long-term marketing objectives for the hospital and plan campaigns and programs to meet such goals. Conduct formal and informal studies of physicians, Hospital/Centers’ patients, and social/community agencies to assess needs and evaluate potential markets.
