Primary responsibilities are to build relationships and work closely with leaders to ensure that they design and proceed successfully through a multi year Personal Learning Plan that is compliant with their personal objectives as well as CBP professional development (PD) objectives. (Coaches will be trained and supported in developing these plans.) Additional responsibilities include participation in CBP administrative transformation efforts. Coaches will deliver some PD personally, and for other PD will coordinate closely with other coaches and with CPB provided experts in administrative process transformation. Executive Coaches must have substantial experience in at least one College senior management role. Essential Job Functions: Develop, assess, and supervise personalized learning plans for college administrative leaders. Coach leader clients individually and in small teams, including motivating clients, providing feedback, diagnosing obstacles, identifying effective remedies for those obstacles from among the diverse project resources, and coordinating the effective provision of those remedies to the client. Assess leader performance according to CBP standards and report performance regularly to the client and to the Provider Head. Collaboration — Work collaboratively with other project staff to ensure proper service delivery and client satisfaction. Project Values — Reflect and promote the project’s core values, including: the inherent value of education; the importance of continuous, rapid innovation and quality assurance (including ongoing professional self development); and evidence based, student centric decision making. Secondary Functions: Serve as subject matter experts (SMEs) in transformations involving the coach’s domain expertise and prior experience. For example, a coach with a background in Finance or Academic Administration would be expected to serve as an SME for those transformation efforts. Special Projects — Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
