- Initiate open repair P.O.s for time and material vendors as per the outlined procedures.
- Prepare business proposals and presentations.
- Submit P.O.s for all engine purchase requirements.
- Provide vendors with direction to enhance the operation and improve cost efficiencies.
- Assist in evaluation of new methods, products and/or equipment which, will improve ground equipment reliability and/or reduce maintenance cost, or improve equipment performance on safety.
- Assist in preparing ground equipment capital and expense budgets for assigned stations.
- Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to.
- Achieve department and Company objectives to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
- Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of goods.
- Create purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and orders.
- Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered.
