Responsible for all safety programs, plans and activities to ensure all employees and contractors are working in a safe and secure environment in accordance with Country Law. Work closely with the operations and maintenance personnel regarding safety matters, and monitor the readiness of special facilities for emergency. Develop, maintain, upgrade legal technical Health safety regulations, work instructions and guidelines to ensure all projects are operated and completed in a safe and environmentally sound manner to enable prevention and precautions against, or adequate control of exposures to hazardous substances, and danger from flammable, explosive, electrical, noise and manual handling risks. Assist senior management on updates, legal requirements of global H S Industrial and construction practices with the objective of implementation of the same in all plants and sites. Review and approve the risk assessment studies, Methods statements, SWP 39 s, HSE alerts etc, Organize and conduct training as per the training matrix with the aim of creating awareness among management/ supervisors workers to achieve high HSE standards. Attend all emergencies, investigate the root causes, report on all accidents, and submit reports with findings, cause of accidents and necessary recommendations to prevent recurrence of the accident. Liaise with Client and authorities for site Audits, issuing Non Conformances, Implementation and development HSE Rules and Regulation on site. Coordinate and assisting to HSE officers of the Sub contractors.
