Job description

    Department Mission The Department works with R&D sites of two main Product Groups. Sites are located in France (Paris, Annemasse, Mondeville), Germany(Stuttgart, Bad-Rodach, Lubeck), Japan(Tokyo) and China(Shenzhen). CIC (Interior Controls Product Group) CIC Team is responsible for all Interactive smart ECU which has interface with Driver and passenger like (Control Panels, Window Lifter modules, Touch Display, Sun Roof Controller, Vehicle Theft Alarm, Top column Module and Steering wheels functions). The team is also working in innovative projects that use Gesture and Driver monitoring algorithms and Interior monitoring algorithms. The Team is also responsible on the project in all project phases starting from Valeo nomination phase till start of production phase with ensuring for the quality of each phase. CCC (Connected Car Product Group) Work with the PG to provide innovative comfort and assisting connectivity solutions to the end customer. Develop SW for cutting edge technologies (Bluetooth, NFC, LTE, Automotive WiFi...) to enrich the connectivity between the car and the surroundings (user, smart-phone, infrastructure, V2V). Improve the SW development R&D efficiency to better utilize the available resources. System Validation Software and Systems in automotive has increased significantly, hence it's testing and validation is becoming complex as well, our mission is to overcome these challenges by providing our customers innovative and robust validation solutions that helps to achieve the time to market for our products. Our testing and validation activities ranges from simple switches ECU to a full Central Panel and Face Plate with touch technology as well as Telematics and RF/Bluetooth ECUs used for Vehicle remote access and control. Job Mission Being part of software development team in Intuitive HMI and Connected Car domains, to develop the following systems:Develop software in in IHCC (Intuitive HMI and Connected Car) field. Develop & Improve the current Gesture and eye monitoring algorithms based on CNN & DNN. Write and analyze requirements specifications. Design software architecture and reusable software components/algorithms. Develop & test the state of the art algorithms for Gesture and Driver monitoring. Job Responsibilities: Conduct research in state-of-the-art Deep Learning area. Implement and prototype ideas on real hardware and embedded systems. Innovate solutions for in-car automatic monitoring problems. Understand and analyze customer and design requirements to identify any gaps or missing information needed to perform development and testing activities for algorithms. Develop test plans and test cases to verify that the algorithms meet the customers’ and the high-level requirements. Use the tools (Like ADTF) to make environment to test Algorithms. Analyze the failed test cases to know if it is coming from Algorithm or test environment. Continuously communicate work progress through attendance of daily & weekly project meetings. (Internal and external with other Valeo sites) Capitalize the knowledge of Gesture & Driver Monitor algorithms and document it in Product knowledge document then start to disseminate them inside the team.
