Job description

    Global sourcing of materials as per the client requirements Preparation of tendering packages to clients Evaluation of tenders and selection of suppliers based on technical competency and competitive pricing Negotiate commercial and delivery issues as well as terms conditions with suppliers Develop purchasing agreements which are compatible with project requirements Provide on going Purchase Order administration including PO revision, resolution of discrepancies etc., as required during the life of the order Assist the expediting process provide assistance and guidance to project dedicated expeditors Coordinating all expediting activities and inspection of goods/equipment using third party inspectors and obtain approval from engineering Co ordinate shipment of goods between the site, the freight forwarder and the vendor/s Managing the procurement team and conducting regular coordination meetings with the team members pertaining to various Procurement issues Attend meetings with clients and vendors as and when required Approving project payment applications Overall contributing to an effective Procurement/supply chain management
