Job description

    Monitoring Gross Profit P L performance vs budget: Building analysis to ensure smart reporting onthe performance across all categories, leading to action orientedrecommendations (at Cat1 Cat2 Cat 3 Seller Level at GP2 level). Improving our GP2 by optimizing seller andcustomer passthrough and adapting the commission matrix to reflect priceleadership opportunities and scale our Value Added Services. Driving Jumia price leadership battles and keepmaintaining and improving our processes, paving the way for automationsOwner of developing the next generation for revenue streams focused onproviding services to sellers (Values Added Services): Take ownership of VAS products includingelaborating on the product value proposition, target market, applicationscenarios, key differentiators and USPs, benchmarking, trends and vision Monitoring, leading and accelerating the adoptionof these services Designing action plans to be executed by KAMs Reconciliation of Marketing Contribution (Dealtracker vs booked by Finance) back margin follow up Making sure that all revenue streams are bookedand correctly implementedInventoryManagement: Management of POs (Retail): making sure that weinbound the right assortment at the right quantity and with a priceleadership Management (coordination execution) ofInventory to ensure a healthy rolling stock Clearing of Forfeited Items (check IT repricing+ boost)Job RequirementsRequiredSkills Qualifications Passion for ecommerce and its ability totransform the economical landscape Extremelystructured and analytical Very organized and ability to structure stakeholders agenda Strong ability to convince and drive local topmanagement on group decisions Great interpersonal skills in order to influencepeople Excellent communication skills Resilient Autonomous Finding simple solutions to complex problemsExpected background and technical skills: At least 3+ years experience in top tier consulting firms, 3+ years experience in top tier e commerce firms 2+ years in top tier investment banks or auditfirms Toptier engineering universities
