Project Managers will manage the bid process, analyze blueprints/specifications, review proposals/project requirements, secure required permits/utility services, coordinate materials procurement, ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal/state laws, provide status updates and maintain documentation records. Responsibilities include material requisition, submittal compilation, purchase orders, on site job walk throughs, change orders request for information, pay application support and close out documents.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Review approved projects to determine specific needs such as equipment modification and renovations specifications.Coordinate design personnel for the implementation of design documents for capital projects as needed using knowledge of engineering design and technology and ensuring compliance of plans to various regulatory codes.Develop initial design and conceptual estimates. Assure the generation of an adequate variety of conceptual design alternatives to satisfy the client needs and the requirements of the project specifications.Generally acts as the leading individual contributor and coordinator of design problem solving. As such, prepare and write construction documents, specifications and contracts for routine and complex construction projects.Coordinate activities of in house trades and construction staff and outside contractors assigned to projects to ensure compliance to specifications and project completion timetables.Responsible for overseeing that all necessary appropriate testing is completed and subsequent information is reported.Review bid proposals submitted by contractors and make recommendations upon analysis of bid amount and/or qualifications of bidder.Prepare funding authorization, process invoices and control all project finances.Monitor the development of the project assuring that the target dates are met and expenditures are within budgetContacts architects, construction engineers or design consultants to procure services, obtain agreement on plan methods and timetables and coordinate construction planning.Will need to act as construction project designer using Auto/CAD on internal construction projects.Provide engineering support for outside engineering consultants.Perform other duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONMust have five (5) or more year s extensive experience knowledge of construction, design, and cost management as an Electrical Project Manager or similar position in a Commercial, Institutional and Industrial environmentExperience managing projects 5 million and aboveExperience managing large Commercial, Institutional and Industrial projects preferredHave thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, etc.)as well as an understanding of Company and industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activitiesProficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and Power PointExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentAbility to present self in a professional manner and represent the company imageDemonstrated leadership and project success are expected.Ability to work in fast paced environmentAre organized, with strong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced abilities in reading and interpreting plans and specificationsPrimary Location: Algiers Algeria)Job: Project ManagerSchedule: Full timeTravel: NoK.E offers a competitive salary commensurate with the candidate s level of experience
