Responsible for purchasing new medical suppliers, ensuring that the purchased product, material, service, meet IDH technical specifications, negotiating purchase terms, and evaluating supplier performance to ensure having efficient deals and sustainable suppliers’ relations. Assist the procurement manager in developing the sourcing/shopping strategy to provide the business with most efficient and effective deals and to always ensure the ease of operations and covering plan to respond to any urgent or unexpected demand for medical supplies. Assist the procurement manager in the suppliers’ performance periodically report, clarifying suppliers SDR, delivery time, history, and last deal details, share any comments about the supplier to help in prioritizing suppliers while setting the purchasing strategy. Shop for the best suppliers that meets IDH quality requirement and negotiate to have the best deal, providing more than two alternatives for the same supplies/ product in certain category determined by the procurement manager. Update SAP with all supplier data to have up to date data base with previous history and update the purchasing strategy according to the procurement manager recommendation. Follow up and support purchasing team in handling all purchasing cycle till the supplier receive all financial dues after the warehouse confirming that the received supplies meet the purchases prerequisite and warehouse check list that is aligned with IDH quality standards.
