Job description

    Ensure customer orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner. Deal with all customer queries and forge a positive ongoing relationship with counterparts. Negotiate rates with the shipping lines LSP 39 s. Enable trading team to focus on leading the commercial agenda through providing excellent customer service. Deliver greater visibility control over demand/stock issues. Identify area of improvement Improve service level to key customers. Manage supply chain initiatives efficiently e.g. e invoicing, coding requirements etc. Determine customer service requirements by maintaining contact with customers visiting operational environments conducting surveys forming focus groups benchmarking best practices analyzing information and applications. Meet customer service objectives by preparing stock requirement validation, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions. Monitor progress and achievement through KPI 39 s take corrective as appropriate and in timely manner. Participate in Sales operation review meetings as required. Monitor and investigate all order failures and put plans in place to improve. Ensure all month end close customer service related activities are completed on time. Ensure the integrity of all data for a quot perfect order quot for customers through working closely with customers 39 contacts. Report service performance to management on a timely basis. Monitor, review and challenge distribution failures to improve service to customers. Forge excellent relationship with the customers 39 supply chain contacts. Work proactively and identify ways of development and implement them.Manage to update files according to the needs of business.
