Job description

    • Coordinate/manage the month-end closing process, ensure timely and accurate General Ledger recording of payroll distributions in addition to prepare support for certain month-end gross-to-net sales accruals.
    • Review actual brands/products spending in comparison to budget/forecast and assess the need for month-end cost accruals.
    • Coordinate processes for documentation, monitoring, and review of internal controls and support ERP system conversion efforts as needed.
    • Responsible for his allocated workload and must meet all objectives as agreed with his Direct Manager in order to contribute towards the smooth running.
    • Various projects as needed and from time to time he may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of the job role even where this falls outside of his own department/team.

    - Direct & Lead Team
    • Manage/Lead the preparation and agreement of individual action plans and performance objectives for all team members, in order to achieve maximum profitability.
    • Train/appraise individual team members to ensure performance objectives are met in order to develop their performance plans and team activities to include a financial strategy to achieve agreed targets, improve planning and monitoring the financial performance.
    • Conduct presentations and proposals to enable the team to deliver accurate and competitive financial planning.
    • Delegate tasks, authority, and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability, and review in order to smoothly running of the team.
    • Responsible for the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, management of all accounting procedures and systems, in addition being an example for team members of commitment, financial activities, work ethics and habits, and personal character.
    Prepare Reports
    • Reporting (content and format as agreed) on a monthly basis or whenever required.
    • Perform primary review of monthly reconciliation reporting.
    • Participate in the assessment of the long-term financial trends and review prospects for future growth of income and new sales areas.

    - Bachelor Degree of commerce
    - 6-8 Years of related Job Function & Industry
    - Previous Pharmaceutical experience is a must
    - Analysis Tools (SPSS, Microsoft Power BI).
    - Extensive Understanding of Financial and Accounting Trends.
    - Thorough understanding of financial management obligations (including statutory obligations), requirements and dynamics.
    - A Solid Understanding of Financial Statistics and Accounting Principles.
    - leadership with ability to drive a team.
    - MBA is an Advantage.
