Job description
-
• The Fashion Designer design, select styles, fabrics, colors, prints and trims for Active &Social collection.
• Also, assists with the production of clothing, accessories, and identifies trends through pricing the new collection.
Creating new Collection:
• Managing design process from conception through to final styling to manufacturing the final product.
• Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and styles, and seeking design inspiration.
• Brainstorm with the team to find the inspiration ideas.
• Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as local trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.
• Analyze market needs.
New Collection Presentation
• Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and finding new concepts.
• Ensuring product is in agreement with business strategy.
• Select the collection according to season colors and prints then create the stories.
• Present design ideas to Concerned Parties
• Presenting story, styles, color boards, and any original samples.
• Take the confirmation from the Concerned Parties.
• Visit trade shows and manufacturers to source, select and buy fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments.
Job requirements
-
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Fashion designer.
• Proficient in using Photoshop, Illustrator and free hand sketch up.
• Fluency in English
• Giza & 6th October residents.
