Job description

    Our client is one of the most respected business houses in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It offers a diverse range of products ranging from Carpets, Area rugs, Flooring, Furniture. wallpaper is the latest addition to the product portfolio. Importing sophisticated products from Europe and other countries that makes it unique trading company. It also has the distinction of having created the largest retail chain in Saudi Arabia.

    They are looking to hire a Finance Manager with the below duties:

    Reporting to the CEO, you will be part of the Executive Management team. This is a strategic role in a fast growing organization, you should have a track record of high level achievement, added value, influencing the direction of the organization and impacting its financial performance. The position also includes preparation leading to an IPO activity.
    Key responsibilities
    •Provide the CEO and the Board of Directors with financial and management information and take active role in making strategic decisions to contribute to continued profitable growth of the Group
    •Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, develop and implement a corporate funding structure to ensure that required finances are available for short and long term business plans and growth.
    •Develop financial systems to facilitate management decision-making. Directs the preparation of all financial and management reports, including income statement, balance sheets, cash flow and performance reports to different level of management within the specified deadlines. Familiarity of Accounting Standard and keeping up to date with IAS, IFRS, SOCPA and ensure compliance in area of relevance / impact to companies in relation to accounting practices and regulatory bodies inclusive DZIT.
    •Develop, manage, motivate, train and retain the finance & accounting department team and provide leadership to them.
    •Spearhead the Financial Planning process including budgets, forecasts and long range strategic plans.
    •Interface with the external auditors in connection of Interim & Final Audit as well as providing the complete audit file together with the Financial reports as per auditor’s requirement. Coordinating with corporate internal audit department to safeguard company’s interests as defined by the executive management.
    •Review and maintain Internal Control through business controlling processes. Maintains and enhances powerful and target-oriented controlling tools including support of implementation in ERP-System. Exercise fiduciary responsibility at all times.
    •Plans short and long-term finance for the company and advises on the financial consequences of internal and external decisions. Participate in strategic planning, and formulating long term business plans.
    •Review and monitor activity of working capital (receivables, payables, inventories inclusive spare parts) for minimizing the investment in working capital without jeopardizing the operational need. Oversee accounting department and treasury functions. Meets regularly with department heads to keep them informed and to offer assistance.
    •Reviews reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against actual production cost versus target as well as monitor customer margins, highlight deviation & significance variations to the management.

Job requirements

    Educational & Professional Qualification
    •Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance
    Master in Accounting or Finance or

    Mandatory requirements:
    •Minimum 2-3 years of experiences as Finance Manager.
    • worked in costing of a retail company for at least 3 years is Prefered
    •Bilingual Arabic and English

    Key area of skills / competencies / characters:
    •Good knowledge of ERP and reporting systems (SAP, AX, Oracle etc.)
    •Very good communication skills and strong in managing people.
    •Hands on approach.
    •Fluent in English and Arabic
