Job description
-
Review and work on the MEP design to complete the MEP works for the unit in any construction projects and approve the consultant design for MEP.
Review the BOQs in contracts and present the owner in the receiving and hand over process of projects.
Review and approve all MEP samples for projects with the primary consultant team.
Review and approve contractor extract after the principal consultant approval for quantities and pricing for BOQs of contract of the project.
Review and look for schedule and project time planes.
Inspect and approve all the commissioning process for all MEP affairs in sites.
Arrange specialist procurement of equipment, fixtures, fittings or components for projects.
Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
Diagnose equipment breakdown problems.
Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly.
Carry out quality inspections on jobs
Monitor and control maintenance costs
Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
Improve health and safety policies and procedures for the maintenance team.
Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines and the training and safety in use programs for employees.
Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
Implement preventive maintenance programs.
Implement of unique maintenance action to existing and too old machines and control of technical results.
Check the expense forecasts for maintenance activities and equipment renewal or replacement.
Create and work on CMMS for all sites and update the assists database with all maintenance activities and expenses.
Work with the maintenance team and control performance and improve efficiency and sufficient work of the maintenance team.
Job requirements

Knowledgeable in safety requirements for significant turnaround and maintenance activities.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schemes (MEP Drawings)
Manual skills necessary to carry out maintenance operations.
Ability to use maintenance software and electronic management systems.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to intervene promptly and efficiently, where required.
Reliability and flexibility
Bachelor's degree in the field of mechanical engineering.
Fifteen (15) years of experience in design MEP fields and all maintenance-related activities.
Hands-on experience with static and rotating equipment.
Fluent English
Skills in developing technical reports.
Computer skills at least Microsoft office(excellent) and auto cad MEP (fair)
