    Job Summary :

    Provide technical and creative leadership for an emerging community of location-aware organizations. Use insight, creativity, and technical expertise to help our clients solve complex enterprise problems as well as play a key role in designing and implementing systems for GIS solutions. Leverage your consulting and project management experience to support customers in defining and meeting their technical and business visions and objectives. You will help our customers translate real-world needs and implement practical solutions.

    Job Description / Responsibilities:
    • Establish project standards, develop project plans & goals, master schedule and milestones, and communicate the same to team members, users and other project participants.

    • Identifying and documenting project requirements, resource requirements, project budget, project risks, and the translation of the Clients' business requirements into specific deliverables.

    • Supervised overall activities of the project team.
    • Manage Client acceptance of the solution and managing Client expectations in line with the agreed statement of work.
    • Create and manage the scope, budget, schedule, and contractual deliverables through the application of planning, performance monitoring, quality assurance, change control, and risk management processes.
    • Manage day-to-day relationship with client stakeholders and resolution of all issues.

    • Maintain and communicate project status to all stakeholders in reports and status meetings.
    Build a project team, including employees, offshore resources, and contractors.

    • Direct and manage BAUs and assigned projects through all phases of project development lifecycle (i.e. conceptualization, development, vendor management and implementation) in line with organizational policies and procedures.
    • Leads and manages full project life cycle from initiation and planning to closure according to the project timelines, cost and expectations for quality and functionality.

    • Identify necessary management structures for projects, and secure the management involvement required.
    • Manage and run complex projects from design and development to production.
    • Liaison with clients to get their requirements

    • Calculate project budget , monitor project running cost

    • Defines resources and schedule for project implementation.

    • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
    • Drive the implementation and delivery of projects and services based on aggressive project requirements and schedules
    • Work with program leads to understand overall business activities, workflows, and customer needs
    • Support project delivery with local and virtual teams
    • Grow and support our practice through business development, expansion into new application areas, and delivery of projects and services to clients .
    • Prepare and present high-quality technical presentations and demonstrations when needed.
    • Participate in a virtual team setting of on-site and remote transportation and application specialists
    • Lead project teams during all phases of implementation including requirements, analysis, design, build/configuration, and deployment.

Job requirements


    • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Civil, computer science, IT or related field)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification –Preferable
    • An understanding of the range of GIS and information management software products, from desktop to server applications and development tools
    • Minimum of five years of leadership experience focused on engaging others in the delivery and execution of technical solutions and service deliverables
    • Demonstrated experience in creating project plans and guiding teams through successful project execution
    Required Skills:
    • Proven project delivery experience, preferably for GIS/IT enterprise solutions.
    • Proposal writing experience including preparing executive summaries, solution definition, scope of services, staffing, and pricing
    • Proven ability to develop project designs, work plans, budgets, and schedules
    • Excellent interpersonal, writing, presentation, and leadership skills
