Job description

    • Differentiate between the payments (cheques, bank transfers & cash payment).
    • Sum up the cheques and send them to the Accountant (banks) to deposit them in the bank.
    • Bookkeeping of all transactions on the financial system
    • Handle communication with the bank online website to maintain the process and check the exact numbers.
    • Ensure financial reports are correct and submitted on time
    • In cooperation with the Chief Accountant .
    • Sign the payment receipt and ensure that it is signed by the CFO.
    • Submit weekly report detailing Income and expenses.
    • Contacts collection department to follow up with the clients that didn’t pay to check their status in case of a deviation between the bank statement and the financial system
    • Send a weekly report to the Chief Accountant detailing all financial transactions
    • Submits Quarterly report for the withholding taxes.
    • Sends a report to the governmental tax.

Job requirements

    • A University degree in Finance, or Business Management., An MBA would be an added advantage.
    • Proven relevant experience of a minimum of 4- 7 years in the field of Accounting
    • In-depth knowledge of the International Accounting standards
    • Capable of partnering with business leadership teams and add value to enhance the control environment of business operations
    • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to work closely with people at all levels of the Group and facilitate the implementation of corrective action
    • Excellent people management skills and ability to work in teams
    • Proficient in using Microsoft applications (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Proven planning and prioritizing skills
    • Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus
    • Able to demonstrate problem solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
