Job description

    We are looking for a "Senior Accountant" to handle all our financial transactions.
    Main Job Duties:
    Your job duties will include preparing and settling all dues related to our daily operations. In addition, to prepare all the different reports and statements, according to the best practices and accounting policies.
    Perform accurate and timely consolidation for the Group subsidiaries and all related sub-consolidations
    on a quarterly basis. Ensure it is reviewed by BU and reporting deadlines to the holding company are
     Oversee the activities related to month end closing for all assigned entities to ensure timely and
    accurate closing.
     Escalate accounting issues to R2R Tower Lead for 1 st point of contact for resolution
     Provide on the job training and guidance to accountants and senior accountants to optimize their
    performance, including monitoring workloads to ensure timely completion of activities and equal
    distribution of work among team members.
     Provide technical IFRS support to the business on all financial accounting matters.
     Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, taxation and Internal control requirements, including
    regulatory compliance for setting up business in new territories. Be an integral part of the risk
    management and fraud prevention directive.
     Lead any process changes or new process implementation within the R2R function in conjunction with
    R2R Tower Lead.
     Accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of work done by direct reports. Ensure they have a
    defined action plan and task list. Regularly review their work, maintain a tracker of open items and
    implement plans to close them.
     Ensure team maintain all accounting records as required by IFRS, tax and company laws in the relevant
    countries business operate. These are to be made available as and when requested.
     Ensure all required reconciliations are prepared timely and as per policy.
     First point of contact for external and internal audit reviews.
