Objectives: Works under the guidance of the Marketing & Events Manager providing on-going support and coordination functions for PDF Marketing & Events activities Major Responsibilities: ▪ PR & Marketing Coordination: Supports PDF Marketing, PR, and Communications to expand PDF visibility among key partners: - Supports implementation of PDF Marketing Strategy. - Coordinates regular Press Releases for PDF events & key activities - Liaises with PDF Media partners ensuring high visibility of PDF programs, activities, & events - Coordinates content and information gathering for PDF marketing & promotional products such as PDF Annual Report, PDF publications, brochures, flyers, posters, & banners etc. - Coordinates with all PDF departments ensuring information is gathered in a timely manner for regularly updating PDF Newsletter, website and Social media pages. - Coordinates with design and print agencies to ensure quality and timely production of PDF marketing and communication materials. - Edits marketing content received from different departments as needed ensuring highest quality of PDF marketing/promotional products. - Prepares distribution lists and distribution calendar for regular communication with Donors/Partners and dissemination of Publications. ▪ Events’ Coordination: Coordinates planning and logistics for PDF events and liaises with PDF departments (internally), and with providers (externally) as needed in the following areas: - Coordinates development of event communication/advocacy materials. - Provides support in events materials (drafting approach letters, drafting thank you letters) - Coordinates and follow-up on event tasks and follow-ups with relevant Dept./Responsible person to ensure timely completion of tasks. - Assists and coordinates developing list of invitees, guests and VIPs to be attending an event. - Coordinates event logistics, set up, and ensures smooth and successful execution of event. - Assists in the preparation of post-event documentation & marketing materials. - Provides general assistance to Marketing & Events Manager as requested and works as a team member with other marketing & events staff members. - Performs miscellaneous job-related duties. ▪ Other Activities: - Keeps and updates Marketing & Events department files. - Other assignments as assigned by the Marketing & Events Manager. ▪ Internal and External Communication: - As deemed necessary by the nature of assignments and under the directives of the Marketing & Events Manager. - All PDF departments. ▪ Personal Specifications: - Bachelor’s degree preferably with specialization in marketing/mass communication - Demonstrated experience and ability relevant to the responsibilities of the position - Previous experience in PR, marketing and event planning - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent writing skills (English/Arabic) - Self-motivated and eager to learn - Proven coordination and organizational skills (Highly attentive to details) - Results-oriented - Demonstrated ability to work productively as part of a team - Ability to work under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines - Positive Attitude
