To support our various departments including Digital Cinema, Localization, Digital Mastering etc, we are seeking a Data Specialist who can fulfill the responsibility of handling day-to-day data entering or leaving the facility in the form of physical media or electronic transmission, and ensure that all security protocols are followed when dealing with sensitive material. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the transmission methods and workflows used widely in the media industry. You should have knowledge and experience with various physical media formats including films, drives and tapes. You should be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude and adapt quickly in a fast pace environment. Be able to work as part of a team that deal with changing priority and workloads.
• Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components. • Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases. • Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests. • Creates & manages bug reports and communicate with the team. • Investigates customer problems referred by the technical support team. • Participates in a cross-functional team working in a highly dynamic agile environment. • Work closely with developers to improve the testability of our applications. • Build scripts and tools to integrate into our continuous integration pipeline. • Defines testing strategies to ensure the product being released is up to industry and company standards. • Able to mentor, guide, and enhance SDETs technical capabilities in the selection of the test frameworks, tools, and processes. • Creates testing plans, including individual testing phases, and ensures the team meets the deadlines set forth in those plans. • Identifies risk and creates plans to mitigate it.

The Distribution Encoder will be responsible for creating digital media deliverables and packages in several formats for film and television content. Technical knowledge of digital media and its core components, including video mezzanine formats, audio, metadata, subtitles, closed captions and artwork is necessary. Tasks may include video and audio editorial; transcoding and encoding; frame rate conversions; video repairs and restoration; audio conforming / retiming; subtitle reformats; metadata XML creation / editorial; quality control.
