Assist the Student Life Manager in developing, implementing, and managing student activities, plans, policies, and services which support and cater to student needs and the university’s mission, vision and goals. Assist in determining and interpreting student life needs on an individual and collective basis; advise students and resolve problems as necessary. Assist in organizing on and off-campus activities such as sports tournaments, trips and international events where other universities might be competing. The Student information system and scheduling administrator will handle multiple applications/systems used for managing admissions, registration and students accounts ensure data is correctly captured and tracked for reporting purposes, and support the all year round systems setup. Description: Responsible for coordinating, making recommendations, and implementing the established data procedures in all used applications/systems to make sure that they are updated, complete and accurate. The coordinator is one of the primary testers of new student system and enhancements for the units and will be responsible for creating test scripts and cases to supplement those prepared by the University Information Technology staff. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with teammates, external contractors, and vendors to ensure that applications/systems help the organization to function effectively. Support data import/export and synchronizations to/from information systems to ensure org-wide data integrity. Assist system administrators and software developers to ensure efficient and effective operation of the organization’s overall data and systems operations. Develop and improve support documentation based on learning. Responsible for applications/systems testing to determine whether they are generating expected results and reports. The coordinator is responsible for making sure all of the official course/students/faculty information is uploaded, edited and maintained as needed in the used applications/systems. Responsible for creation and maintenance of the Fall, Spring and Summer semester course schedules in the used applications/systems Creation and maintenance of locations, resources, organizations, and user account information. The successful candidate will work with the research office team to handle several tasks including: 1- Dissemination of targeted funding opportunities 2- Keeping updated record and database of research publications. 3- Maintain advanced knowledge and understanding of research funding agency programs, policies and submissions process. 4- Advise on, and assist with, the development and submission of research grants applications. 5- Manage and assist in the preparation of institutional grant applications and reporting 6- Assist in editing proposals with call-specific requirements before submission to external funding agencies 7- Locate and disseminate relevant research funding opportunities to Zewail City researchers. 8- Ensure that research applications comply with internal regulations as well as those of the funding agency, and liaise with the Finance department to confirm that financial requirements are met. 9- Prepare annual reports on research and funding progress for various internal and external stakeholders. 10- Prepare and edit updated research news and highlights. 11- Perform other duties as assigned
